PocketPlan is a manual budgeting app supported by advertisements. This policy explains the app’s local financial storage, Google advertising services, and your choices.
Financial entries and preferences
You may enter income, expenses, descriptions, category budgets, recurring bills, savings goals, and appearance or currency preferences. These entries remain in the app’s private storage on your Android device. We do not receive them and do not send them to Google AdMob. PocketPlan does not request your name, email, bank login, account numbers, contacts, or location permission. It has no registration, bank integration, developer-operated backend, or cloud sync.
Advertising and consent
PocketPlan uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. These services communicate with Google to manage privacy choices and display ads. The advertising SDK may process device identifiers, IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google may use this information for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention according to its policies and your available consent choices. We do not provide financial entries or descriptions for advertising targeting.
Where applicable, a consent form is presented. You can revisit available advertising privacy choices from Settings when the consent platform requires that option. Budgeting remains usable if consent cannot be obtained or an ad fails to load.

Backups and exports
Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for app data. If you choose CSV export or JSON backup, the file is unencrypted and contains the entries you export. You choose the destination through Android’s file picker. A destination provider, such as a cloud drive, may sync your chosen export under its own policy. The developer does not receive these files.
Retention and deletion
Financial entries are kept locally until you delete them, delete all local data in Settings, clear app storage in Android Settings, or uninstall. Delete all local data removes transactions, budgets, bills, goals, and app preferences; it does not remove exported files or data held by Google. Delete exported files through your file provider. Consult Google’s policy for advertising data retention, deletion, and privacy rights.
Security
The ledger is stored in app-private Android storage, and writes are atomic to reduce the risk of interrupted saves. There is no separate app password or app-level encryption key. Access depends on your device’s security; someone who can unlock your phone may open the app. Protect your device and any unencrypted exports. Advertising SDK transmissions use Google’s network services.
Audience
PocketPlan is intended for adult personal budgeting and is not directed to children. It does not offer loans, transfers, investments, or bank account services.

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current policy. For questions or applicable privacy rights requests, contact taimoormalik688@gmail.com. Because we do not receive the local ledger, we cannot retrieve or recover it for you.
